Xscape Net Worth $20 Million
Xscape was discovered when still a quintet by Jermaine Dupri, who ended up signing them to his record label, So So Def. After one of their former members, Tamera Coggins left the group, Xscape became a quartet in 1993, and released their debut album entitled ‘’Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha’’ later that year., which consisted of 11 songs, including ‘’Just Kickin’ It’’ and ‘’Understanding’’, and went on to achieve success on charts, peaking at number 17 on the Billboard 200 chart and eventually became certified platinum as it sold more than a million copies. In 1995, the group released their second album, ‘’Off the Hook’’ featuring 12 songs, with its lead single ‘’Feels So Good’’ reaching 31st place on the US Hot 100, and ‘’Who Can I Run To’’ peaking at number eight. The album itself reached third spot on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The group’s net worth was certainly well set.
After that, they went on to make ‘’Traces Of My Lipstick’’, which featured the hit song ‘’The Arms Of The One Who Loves You’’, that peaked at number seven on the Hot 100 chart and in addition to that, ‘’My Little Secret’’, which also had notable chart success. However, after this album, LaTocha Scott left the group to pursue her solo career, and so Xscape began their five years long hiatus. Nevertheless, in 2005 LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott returned to the group, which at that time also featured a new member, Kiesha Miles, and the newly formed group subsequently made yet another album, ‘’Unchained’’, which was unfortunately never released as the result of lack of promotion.
As of the most recent past, the group made a live performance, after 18 years, at the 2017 BET Awards and in September of the same year, they announced they would be touring 29 cities from November 2017 to early January of 2018. Also, in September the audience was able to see them perform on ‘’The Wendy Williams Show’’ in which they sang their hit song ‘’My Little Secret’’. Two of the group’s new singles were released on 1st December, entitled ‘’Wifed Up’’ and ‘’Dream Killa’’.
In addition to being active in the music field, the members of Xscape have featured in reality television series such as ‘’The Real Housewives of Atlanta’’, in which Kandi Burruss starred, while Tameka starred in ‘’Tiny & Toya’’ alongside her friend Antonia Johnson Carter.
When it comes to their private lives, Tameka Cottle has been married to her fellow singer T.I since 2010 and they have two sons. Kandi Buruss has one daughter from her relationship with Russell Spencer. LaTocha Scott is married to Rocky Bivens and the couple has one son, Jamon.
